Synopsis:
Part I. The Burning of Rome.
Part II. The persecuted christians gathered in the catacombs celebrating the divine service - together with St. Peter.
Part III. St. Peter following the appeal of his flock, leaves Rome, on the via Appia, meets the Lord in the dead of night - repentant returns to his people.
Part IV. St. Peter returns to Rome, to his martyrdom.
