Abstract
Correspondence with Novello in London regarding score materials for April 1955 performances of Mahler's Symphony No. 6; A delay of over 6 weeks in receiving the orchestra parts from London led to intervention by Michael Ratner, in the Executive Office of the General Post Office, who located the packages containing the scores and delivered them to the Philharmonic on March 31st in time for the performance; Note stating that the parts were then held by the Philharmonic for future use; search for the score of the prize-winning opera "Tony" by Karl Siebeck
