Annual Photographers' Night. NY Times July 11, 1957: "Amateur photographers, competing for \$1,500, ahd the run of the Stadium. The sole limitation: no flashbulbs within fifty feet of the stage.

Even this restriction was lifted at the end of the concert, when Mr. Smallens and the orchestra played an encore for the benefit of the close-range camera men."
