    The viola part included in this set was an optional substitute for the 1st cello stand and it's unclear if it was used in performance.
    These parts were most likely used during a performance on March 28 and 29, 1957 at Carnegie Hall with Heitor Villa-Lobos himself conducting. His initials are on the miniature score, but it is unmarked inside.
