The second half of the concert consisted of Goring Thomas' cantata "The Swan and the Skylark" performed by "Thomas' Orchestra," the Festival Chorus, Dan Beddoe, and Ruby Cutter-Savage with Warren Howe conducting.

The Peoria Star (8 Apr 1904) announced that Madame Mihr-Hardy fell ill and was replaced with Madame Ruby Cutter-Savage.
