The Manager, Arthur Judson, was instructed to inform the Music Director that he should give purely orchestral concerts without soloists more frequently than in the present season. Because of the increase in size of the orchestra and associated expense due to returning servicemen, the Manager was instructed to inform the Music Director that the size of the orchestra should be reduced to not more than 101 actual players, one librarian, two assistant librarians and one stagehand.
