Abstract
- Philharmonic's personnel does not change going into next season - Willem van Hoogstraten conducts all nine Beethoven symphonies - Special ticket price for customers buying for consecutive concerts - Albertina Rasch and her company of 75 dancers present two ballet programs to the works of classical and modern composers, part of a collaboration with her husband and composer Dimitri Tiomkin. The Eva Jessye Choir performs and the program is conducted by Hugo Riesenfeld - Irma Duncan and the Isadora Duncan Dancers perform alongside the Stadium Orchestra to works by Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, and Wagner - Albert Coates working as a music director in both the US and USSR - Bernard Wagenaar conducts his own Divertimento - Baritone Paul Robeson performs a set of African American spirituals - Coates on the state of music in Europe and the Soviet Union - Hall Johnson on developing his choir
