The relevant New York Times review contains no information as to whether the encores were performed entirely at the end of the concert or performed immediately before the intermission (which they have historically done on some occasions). A New York Tribune review on 21 Aug 1930 (found in the press clippings) implied that two of the encores took place prior to intermission.
