Notes
"Farewell Concert in New York and Beginning of Trans-Continental Tour
"Note. - At the close of this concert the entire New York Symphony Orchestra with its conductor, Mr. Damrosch, and with Mr. Hofmann as soloist, will depart for a tour of ten weeks to the Pacific Coast and back. During this period the Orchestra will play seventy concerts in over sixty cities of the United States. No Orchestra of this size has ever before undertaken a tour of this magnitude."

The Symphony Society Bulletin was a newsletter produced in advance of the New York Symphony concerts. It is not known at this time if what was programmed actually happened. There is no known complete set of New York Symphony programs so all performance information is compiled from a variety of sources.
