  • This arrangement of "Water Music" was performed the NYP, conducted by Pierre Boulez, on April 25,26,27,30, 1974. A note in the program (ID#216) reads "The performance of Handels 'Water Music' will follow the sequence of a manuscript copy of the late 1740's, rather than the manuscript copy which the Redlich-Barenreiter edition is based. The sequence will be: movements I&II of Suite No.2; movements I&II of Suite No.3; movements III&IV of Suite No.2; movements III&IV of Suite No.3; movement V of Suite No.2."
