ALS-George Templeton Strong, Jr., son of former Philharmonic President George Templeton Strong (1870 - 1874), letteer to the Board of Directors of the NY Philharmonic Society, requesting an opportunity to hear his orchestral composition "Ein Todtentanz" played by the Philharmonic at its next Private Rehearsal on 19 November 1878.
