Notes

These performances were the U.S. premiere of the movements of Walton's "Façade: Second Suite for Orchestra", although it was yet to be named that. In all four performances this season, the orchestra performed the new movements from manuscript. According to the program, the new movements were added to the original "Façade" Suite at the request of Sir John Barbirolli.
