Abstract
Contract negotions between the Society and Local 802 of the American Federation of Musicians, resulting in a new contract in which orchestra musicians will be employed for the first time for a full year with 4 weeks paid vacation, the first such contract for any American orchestra; negotiations and agreement on salaries, number of services at home and on tour,days off, length of concerts, number of rehearsals, concert duration, overtime pay for extra rehearsals, pensions and life insurance; terms of Television Film Labor Agreement, 1961-1964; special terms for Danny Kaye Pernsion Fund Concert 29 March 1965; Videotapes of YPC.
