The first violin stand 1 has a note affixed that reads: "These strings made from masters provided by Philadelphia Orchestra. Wind set returned to P.O. without being copied on account of poor original quality. Kalmus parts are a manuscript and not compatible with this edition, i.e., no bell or tuba part, rehearsal numbers different. NYP/Conlon/Accardo, March, 1986, did not use: Trombones, Tuba, Timpani, Percussion (other than f# bell)"
This box only contains a full set of strings and three scores, one of which is digitized herein.
The string bowings were done by Charles Rex.
