Gala Concert on board the S.S. De Grasse to benefit charities patronized by the French Line (a.k.a. the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique, which operated the De Grasse), hosted by Maurice van Praag, Orchestra Personnel Manager of the New York Philharmonic. The Philharmonic was on board returning to New York from their first Tour of Europe with Arturo Toscanini, and this performance most likely happened in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
