  • Kurt Masur materials.
    Score Dimensions: 9" x 12".

The front cover of the score reads "KM" followed by the year "1981". Since Kurt Masur was music director of the New York Philharmonic from 1991 to 2001, it is unclear whether this was Masur's personal score and he indicated the year 1981 for some reason, or if the score was used by the Philharmonic during the year 1981.

The violin, viola, and cello parts used in this set were reprints of Breitkopf & Härtel made by Edwin F. Kalmus & Co. Parts were used in performances on May 27, 28, and 29, 1993, conducted by Masur, March 13, 14, and 15, 1997, conducted by Colin Davis, September 25, 26, and 30, 1997, conducted by Masur, on the 2001 Spain Tour conducted by Masur, November 22 and 25, 2003, conducted by Minczuk, October 23, 24, 25, and 28, 2008, conducted by David Robertson, and November 15, 16, and 17, 2012, conducted by Masur.
