This score has been rebound by the archives, implying its significance and value to NYP as a historical document worthy of preservation. It features markings from multiple authors and was presumably used for at least two performances, the first of which was conducted by Lukas Foss in 1966. This milestone performance featured an all-star cast, narrated by Aaron Copland (see 'AARON' prompts in the conductor's score) along with John Cage, Elliott Carter, and Jaime Laredo, to name a few.

The script shows notations by at least four different authors, having also been used for multiple performances over the years.
