Abstract
Takes note of plans for the construction of an Opera House at Columbus Circle and hopes to be a part of it; Authorization given for office improvements and new furniture with an upper limit of \$20,000; Conductors approved for 1952-53; Authorization given for further discussion of European and U. S. tours; Report on anticipated deficit, and funds available from special funds; Mr. Plimpton to head committee to consider different levels of membership in the Society; Change in meeting place for Board of Directors; Resolutions for transfer of assets; Certificate of Increase of Number of Directors of the Society filed with the Department of State; Managers given power to allow use of the Society's name only by responsible organizations, subject to approval by the President; Net gain to the Pension Fund from the admissions tax refund estimated to be more than \$50,000; Discussion of plans for a new opera house at Columbus Circle; Managers authorized to destroy old files prior to a year to be determined by the President and Secretary of the Society, and also to safely store permanent records of the Society; Destruction of old files.
