Abstract
Report of negotiations between Music Director Artur Rodzinski and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, confirmed by Manager Arthur Judson. Accusations by Rodzinski that his position in New York was being undercut by Arthur Judon and Bruno Zirato. Rodzinski invited to enter the meeting, and made a long statement complaining about the engagement of Leopold Stokowski and the terms of the new contract offered to him which he felt was the result of "chicanery" by Ralph Colin. Rodzinski was asked whether he desired to resign or continue as Music Director, to which he did not answer. Agreement by Rodzinski to accept or refuse contract within twenty-four hours.
