FRENCH PROGRAM FOR BASTILLE DAY
A speach was given by Consul General Count Jean de la Garde during the intermission, and both the "Star Spangled Banner" and "La Marseillaise" were sung. The Debussy halted midway through, and the Ravel piano concerto was not performed due to a wind storm.
