Notes

NY Times says Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony was played, not his Fifth (with no mention of a change in program). We are assuming the NY Times article said this in error. The 18 August 1926 Herald-Tribune article in the Stadium concert scrapbook says the Fifth was played.
