Notes
Originally published to YouTube with the title "Concerts in the Parks @ Home: George Curran, Bass Trombone" and the following description:

New York Philharmonic Bass Trombone George Curran heads outdoors, the ideal venue for a performance of Steven Verhelst's "Hymn for Planet Earth." George recorded the piece for his 2017 album, "Vital Signs."

George and other Philharmonic musicians are outside this week for Concerts in the Parks @ Home, our way of recreating the magic of the annual Concerts in the Parks, which were cancelled this summer due to the pandemic. Visit nyphil.org/parksathome for a picnic checklist and Zoom backgrounds of Central Park, Prospect Park, and fireworks. Coming soon: an archival exhibit on Google Arts & Culture, a photo slideshow, and a broadcast on June 25 (7:30 PM EDT on Facebook and YouTube) featuring all-star performances from past Concerts in the Parks!
