SOMEONE PENCILED IN THE PROGRAM THAT MR. WEISS
DID NOT PLAY. WE KNOW FROM NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS THAT WEISS DID NOT PERFORM.
AFTER AN ARGUMENT WITH MAHLER HE WAS REPLACED BY YOLANDA MERO. MISS MERO,
HOWEVER, STRAINED A TENDON IN HER RIGHT HAND AND COULD NOT PLAY. THE
CONCERT WAS PERFORMED BY PAOLO GALLICO.
